The Zombiefication. There is a theory on zombies and their appeal. We identify with them. They are not heard. They are able to eat and RS gold consume. They die. The 99 percent are zombies. We'll take a detour through Lord of the Rings before we head over to Runescape. We disappear into books as we do into a good game. Lord of the Rings is a story about free will. The Ring is made to rule them all and, in the dark, bind them. Each of the heroes has their own opinions. The heroes vote against the Ring. Then we reach Runescape.
Runescape is a space where everyone is equal. A place where everyone has the ability to speak up on behalf of themselves as well as the game creators. You can choose the subject matter Runescape is about. Kill, talk, or even kill. Or, to be a pure, foruminate, fisherman for a while. Or to search for gold. We can choose and speak. Or do we? Lord of the Rings has been in existence for over sixty years, it was able to outlive its creator. It appears to be alive and well. What about Runescape? Are we able to run away from the zombiefication. Your choice.
Hello, I've been checking out Runescape as a user on these forums as well as the RSOF. There were a few factors that made me give up on Runescape about a year ago: I lost interest in playing better MMO's (Dragon Nest etc), and buy OSRS gold I was focused on my studies (still am) as well as feeling jaded about RS all over the world. The last one seems to be the feeling that the majority of players are experiencing right today. But I digress.
